Introducing The New Site Design

The new site design is finally and I’m SO EXCITED to show you all the new features it has. We also created a brand new logo. Isn’t that gorgeous? I love the clean look! It’s simple and easy to remember.

Over the past year, I’ve been working with the talented web designer Melissa from Melissa Rose Design and web developer Lauren from Once Coupled to create a sleek, clean, and minimalistic branding aesthetic site and provide curated homepage, index, and category landing pages that better control the user’s experience.

This new site design is a dream coming true and I couldn’t be happier with the result. So, today I’ll show you some of the new features on this new site design. I hope you like it!

The goal for this new design was to make content easier to navigate by making top categories clear; menu designed to feature top search methods and to create icons where the readers can click on them and find what they are looking for.

On the homepage, you can now browse recipes on the green bar (as you can see on the image below) by course, dietary, method, ingredients and holiday.

YouTube Videos and Testimonials

Also, on the homepage we highlighted the most popular YouTube videos, so you can take a look at them all. We also add some testimonials from readers that are always trying our recipes.

The Recipe Index

This is my favorite page of the whole site. Here is where you can find all the recipes from Primavera Kitchen in a very easy way. As you could see on the homepage, here you also can search for recipes using the black bar/buttons that says browse by course, dietary, method, ingredients and so on.

Category Icons

Or you can also browse for your favorite recipes using the cute icons (see above) These icons represent the most popular categories on the site. When you click on them, you go straight to the category you chose. Pretty cool, right?

Visual Recipe Index

Our brand new Visual Recipe Index has over 20 main recipe categories. You now can easily click to browse my recipes in the category of your choice. On the same page but below the visual recipe index you can also browse the recipes by diet, method and season.

And last but really the best part, if you scroll all the way down on the visual recipe index page, you will see the list of ingredients from A to Z. Cool, right?!

Our main goal was to increase and elevate user experience in an effort to make this website as easy to navigate as possible.

This is the end of out tour. But Primavera Kitchen now has lots of new features that I didn’t mention here. So, go ahead and explore the site. It was create for you and with our best intentions! Hope you love it as much as I do!
