Brazilian Shrimp Pie

This traditional Brazilian shrimp pie recipe is simple, healthy and most importantly delicious. You won't believe how easy is to make the dough!

For the filling:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ onion — chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves — chopped
  • 1 tomato peeled and seeded — chopped
  • 2 cups medium-sized shrimp — peeled
  • 1 cup green peas fresh or canned
  • 1 cup canned corn
  • Salt and fresh ground black pepper

For the dough:


  1. Pre-heat the oven at 400F.
  2. In a skillet over heat-medium heat place olive oil, onion, garlic and tomato.

  3. Sauté for about 5 minutes. Then add shrimp and cook for 3 more minutes or until shrimp is pink.
  4. Add green peas, corn and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for 1 minute. Set aside.
  6. In a blender jar add Put the almond milk, coconut oil, eggs, salt and baking powder. Blend everything for about 1 minutes or so and add flour gradually.

  7. Then blend for 3 minutes.
  8. Place half of the dough on the greased baking sheet.

  9. Then place the mixture filling and the rest of the dough on top.
  10. Sprinkle with parmesan and bake in the oven until golden brown. Enjoy!
