How to cook bacon in the oven

Find how to cook bacon in the oven without making a mess. It’s so easy and you just need aluminum foil or parchment paper, cooling rack, baking sheet and of course bacon.

Ingredients

  • 10 slices bacon — nitrate-free and sugar-free

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with foil. Make sure you have enough foil to fold edges up to avoid grease from running out. If you’re using a wire rack/cooling rack now it’s time to place it on the baking sheet.
  3. Lay bacon in a single layer onto prepared baking sheet or cooling rack (if you’re using it).
  4. Bake until it gets crispy (according to your taste). It’s about 20-25 minutes. After 20 minutes keep an eye to avoid burning it.
  5. Remove from the oven and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
  6. Enjoy!
