Slice the avocados in half and use a sharp knife to remove the pit. Then, scoop out the fruit with a spoon and transfer it to a medium mixing bowl.
Use a fork, potato masher, or molcajete to mash the avocados until they reach your preferred consistency.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well to combine. Taste the guacamole and adjust the seasoning with a pinch more salt or lime juice if necessary.
Serve the guacamole with tortilla chips.
Notes
To tell if your avocados are ripe, give them a squeeze. They should have some give to them.
Use fresh ingredients, like freshly squeezed lime juice vs bottled lime juice for the best flavor. It will taste much better!
