Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook for about 3-5 minutes.

Stir in garlic and cook for an additional minute. Mix in the tomato paste, ensuring it coats the vegetables.

Add ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook for roughly 7 minutes until it’s no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.

Sprinkle in chili powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, and cayenne. Season with salt and black pepper.

Pour in tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce and beef broth. Then bring the mixture to a boil.

Reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve the chili in bowls and top with cheese, sour cream, and scallions. Enjoy!
