Ingredients

  • cup hazelnuts
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts
  • 1/2  cup powdered erythritol  — you can add more if you want the spread a bit sweeter.
  • 1/4  cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup dark chocolate — 85% cacao, melted
  • tbsp coconut oil — melted
  • tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 °F/204 °C. In a large baking sheet, spread the hazelnuts and macadamia nuts. Bake for about 8-10 minutes, until they are lightly browned. Remove the nuts from the oven and allow to cool for about 15 minutes.
  2. Once the nuts are cooled, rub them together in your hands to loosen and remove their skins.
  3. In a food processor or high powdered blender, add the nuts and process until you get a nice creamy texture.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and process again until smooth and all the ingredients are combined.
  5. Pour into a jar and enjoy
