  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo
  • ½ lime juiced
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, chipotle peppers (along with a bit of the sauce), lime juice, garlic, and a pinch of salt in a food processor.

  • Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust the seasoning with more lime juice or salt, if needed.

Notes

  • Try adding finely chopped cilantro for a light, fresh note.
  • If the sauce is too thick adjust the consistency with a splash of lime juice or water.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly or wear gloves when handling the chipotle peppers.
