- 2 cups spinach fresh
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 avocado peeled
- 1 scoop protein powder
- ½ cup pomegranate seeds*
- Leave some pomegranate seed for garnish.
- If you don't have spinach, you can use kale, arugula, or collard instead.
- Try to use a protein powder that does not have added artificial sweeteners.
- To store: Try to drink this pomegranate green smoothie as soon as possible but you can leave it in the fridge for a day or so. Just mix it back together if needed.
- To freeze: Freeze the smoothie or the ingredients for up to 3 months.
