Seriously, if you want a super easy, quick, and delicious desert recipe for the Holidays, these banana chocolate treats are the perfect recipe for you. And they can be ready to go in less than 15 minutes! They are also gluten-free, vegan and paleo-friendly!
The last few days were very busy for me. I was in Argentina half of the week and then we came back to Brazil. Yes, it was the end of our vacation and I’m already missing it a lot. I loved both Argentina and Uruguay and I hope I’ll be back there one day. But although I was on vacation, I was feeling very tired when I arrived. Do you guys have the feeling that you need vacation after the vacation???!!! Yes? I had that this time. I guess it’s because we did a lot in 10 days and also it was the first time that we were travelling for vacation with our baby.
When I arrived in São Paulo I unpacked everything and my husband did laundry. The house was already organized. I also needed to prepare Thomas’ food. I like to make ahead of time his meals and leave everything ready to warm up when it’s his time to eat. I found it easier and practical for me. And between the meals, I give him lots of fruits. he loves them especially oranges, he goes nuts. To make things easier for me, I make a few of my own meals ahead of time too like this Garlic Butter Baked Chicken Breast so I can quickly eat while Thomas naps. I also like to bake a couple things like this Paleo Chocolate Chips Almond Flour Banana Bread, Low-carb Blender Banana Bread, and Blender Banana Oatmeal Muffins so I can have some snacks for myself as well!
I also cooked for the weekend and bake some treats for Christmas. Yes, I’m already tasting some recipes for this special day like this Christmas Almond Chocolate Cups. When I go back to Canada at the beginning of December I’ll know what to cook and bake 😉 So, One of the treats I made was this Christmas Chocolate Banana Treats, which is seriously ultra-easy and simple to make. It requires only 4 ingredients such as dark chocolate, bananas, Christmas sprinkles and pretzel. This is so flavourful and so cute that everybody would love to have a bite. Also it’s vegan, gluten-free and paleo-friendly. This isn’t AWESOME! Your kids are going to love making and eating them.

Ingredients
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 3 big banana cut in 4 pieces
- 1/4 cup Christmas sprinkles
- 6 gluten-free pretzel sticks cut in half
Instructions
- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate and melt for 1 minute on high power. Heat in 15-second increments until chocolate can be stirred smooth.
- Place a piece of banana on a fork and then spoon the melted chocolate evenly over the piece.
- Put the banana piece onto a plate or a parchment paper.
- Add sprinkles on the top.
- Add pretzel sticks in the center.
- Chili for 10 mins.
Tips
- If you don't have chocolate chips, you can also melt chocolate baking bars.
- Since these are Christmas treats, I use Christmas-themed sprinkles. However, you can use any type of sprinkles to make this a year-round treat!
- You can use a mini banana and coat the entire banana if you prefer.
- To store: Keep the chocolate banana treats covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.

How long do these last? I’m trying to premake all the holiday treats. Can make them on Monday and they’ll still be good by Thursday or is it an eat in a day type treat?
Olivia says
It’s better you make them a day before Christmas.
