This One-Pan Shrimp Spaghetti is super easy to make and you only need one pan! Definitely a quick and flavorful weeknight recipe with almost no clean up. Amazing!
I am very excited to share this recipe today because it is very delicious, it will be ready in less than 15 minutes from start to finish, and you will only use one pan. How amazing is that? Perfect, right? I was invited to try out the new Barilla® Pronto™ and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how easy, quick, and flavorful this One Pan Shrimp Spaghetti turned out.
For this recipe, you use the same pan to cook the pasta and make the entire recipe because this new pasta won’t need any boiling or draining! Isn’t this awesome you don’t need to wait for water to boil and no draining is required? Then you toss all the remaining ingredients and it’s ready to eat. I know it may feel strange not to strain the past, but I promise you it will still have the same great flavor and texture of the traditional pastas.
I used the half cut spaghetti, but Barilla Pronto is available in four delicious shapes (Half-Cut Spaghetti, Penne, Cut Macaroni and Rotini). So, if you don’t want to make this recipe with spaghetti pasta, you can use a different one. The possibilities to create lots of recipes with this new product line from Barilla are endless since you can customize it with your favorite sauces, seasonings, vegetables, and meat.
Talking about endless possibilities to choose what to make with this Barilla Pronto pasta, I decided to make spaghetti with tomato sauce and shrimp because it is my favorite way to eat spaghetti. I’ve never thought it would be so simple to make it. I just needed to sauté the onion, add the tomato sauce, pasta, and chicken broth. Then I cooked it until the chicken broth was almost all absorbed by the pasta. I added the shrimp and spinach about 5 minutes before everything was ready since shrimp can’t be cooked for so long. And finally, I added the Parmesan cheese before serving. This was absolutely delicious. Hope you try this recipe and let me know what do you think. Enjoy!
