These fun, festive and delicious Snowman Chocolate Cups are the perfect Christmas treats or wintertime snacks! These no-bake chocolate cups are also made with just a hand full of ingredients!
Six months ago I came to Brazil because I would love for my family to see my baby boy Thomas who was only 4 months old growing and to introduce him to the rest of my family. When he was born in Canada only my mom was able to go and spend one month with us there. Now, my baby is 9 months old and he already sleeps through the night, eats solid foods, crawls everywhere in the house, stands propped up on the furniture and he’s starting pronouncing sounds. I have to say that I feel so grateful for his development. It’s really a blessing to be able to see your kid growing healthy and smart.
It’s incredible how time flies when we are having fun. I can’t believe 6 months are already gone. Now it’s time to go back to Canada. On Monday we will be flying back. During our time here we went to the beach so many times, we received my Canadian in-laws, we traveled to different cities in Brazil and to two South American countries (Argentina and Uruguay), we ate delicious food, visited old friends and spent quality time with my family. I’ll miss a lot the time that I was here but I’m also very excited to return to my home and my routine.
Another thing that I’m very excited about is this delicious Snowman Chocolate Cups for Christmas. I mean don’t you agree with me that these chocolate cups are the cutest thing EVER?!! They are not only adorable but vey easy to make. Best of all they are no bake and you only need 6-ingredient to create them.
You can make these Snowman Chocolate Cups using cupcake liners in a muffin tin or in a silicone muffin tray, which also make them easy to unwrap. These festive Christmas treats are great to be made with your kids too. I bet they will love to draw the little snowman faces. I advise you to take your time when you do the eyes and the mouth with a snipped plastic bag of melted chocolate because it can blob the snowman’s face if the hole on the bag is too big. But, to make it even easier you can do the eyes and mouth with the black sparkle gel. It’s also very quick to do since you just need to freeze them for 10 minutes and they are ready to be served or to give them as a gift.
One last tip: Please choose a very good quality dark chocolate to melt because it is the main ingredient of these cups. If you don’t use good chocolate, these cups won’t be as delicious as they should be.
If you’ve got guests coming over for the holiday season, you should also make these Christmas Chocolate Banana Treats, Low-Carb No-Bake Chocolate Coconut Bars, Christmas Almond Chocolate Cups, and of course this Holiday Cheese Board. No party is complete without a treat.

Snowman Chocolate Cups
These fun, festive and delicious Snowman Chocolate Cups are the perfect Christmas treats or wintertime snacks! These no-bake chocolate cups are also made with just a hand full of ingredients!
Servings: 22 people
Ingredients
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 6 pretzel sticks cut in half
- 1/4 cup Christmas sprinkles
- 6 pretzel sticks cut in half
- Red sparkle gel
- Black sparkle gel (optional: I didn't use this, but it will be faster and easier if instead using a snipped plastic bag with melted dark chocolate)
Instructions
- In a heat-proof medium bowl, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave. Every 20 seconds stir the chocolate and put again in the microwave and continue repeating until the dark chocolate is melted.
- Spoon two tablespoons into a resealable plastic bag and set aside.
- In another heat-proof small bowl, melt the white chocolate in the microwave and stir every 20 seconds until it is melted.
- Spoon all the melted white chocolate into another resealable plastic bag and set aside.
- Then, pour the dark chocolate into silicone muffin pan (you can also use a muffin pan that is not silicone).
- Snip the corner of the plastic bag that has the white chocolate.
- While the dark chocolate is still warm, make the snowman by piping circles of white chocolate.
- Snip the corner of the other plastic bag that has the melted dark chocolate and draw the eyes and mouths. (it's important that you make a very small hole at the corner of the bag, to avoid making a mess when you draw the little eyes and mouth.)
- Add pretzel stick arms.
- Using the red sparkle gel make the buttons of the snowman.
- Sprinkle Christmas sprinkles around the snowman.
- Now, chill in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.
Tips
- Adapted from The Decorated Cookie.
- When melting the chocolate, make sure there's no liquid in the bowl as it'll cause the chocolate to seize.
- If you don't have chocolate chips, you can also melt chocolate baking bars.
- Use good quality dark chocolate as it is the main ingredient for these snowman chocolate cups.
- To store: Keep the chocolate cups covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.
