Quick and Easy Peach Salsa Recipe for you to enjoy during the last weeks of summer. Bursting with sweet flavor, enjoy this appetizer on its own or with tortilla chips, in tacos, baked salmon, pork, or over some grilled meat. You will be obsessed with this fresh and sweet salsa.
I know there are lots of people who are already counting the days for fall to come. I understand that because sometimes the very humid, sticky, sweaty summer months are not very enjoyable for so many people. But for me, who grew up in a tropical country like Brazil, the hot weather is my favorite. Because of this, I’m still posting summer recipes on this blog. I really do not want summer to end so soon.

Summer is just such a happy season that I never want it to end! Never! However, since we all know that it will end in a month, I’m trying to enjoy the nice weather as much as I can. So, I really don’t like to be in the kitchen cooking for a long time because I prefer to be outside playing with my little one.
So here I am with another easy, quick, and fresh recipe for you to try this summer. A fresh salsa recipe is always good during summer, don’t you think?
This peach salsa recipe is great to bring to a picnic, potluck, and patio dinner parties. Also, you can bring it to work and enjoy it over some grilled meat, fish, or chicken. Mm… the combo of sweet and savory always makes my mouth water.
The months of July, August, and September are perfect to enjoy the peach season. So we’d better get good use of them. I have so many fresh peaches right now that I’ve been making a ton of recipes with them, like this Peach Carrot Smoothie Recipe, Spicy Pineapple Peach Smoothie, and Peach Green Smoothie Recipe for breakfast.
This quick and easy salsa peach recipe is a perfect use for your sweet and juicy peaches.

Ingredients
- Peaches — Make sure you get plump, juicy, and fresh ripe peaches. I don’t recommend canned or frozen peaches for peach salsa. Canned peaches usually have a coating of syrup that adds unnecessary sweetness to the peach salsa. Remove the pits and give them a rough chop to prep them.
- Red onions — I love the pop of colour that red onions give the salsa. It also adds a nice crispy texture to the salsa.
- Bell pepper — I recommend using red bell peppers as they’re the sweetest. Orange and yellow bell peppers are great as well, but I would not recommend using green bell peppers.
- Jalapenos — Always make sure to remove the seeds! The jalapenos add a nice spicy kick to the salsa that pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the peaches.
- Lime juice — Use fresh lime juice! It tastes much brighter and flavorful than bottled lime juice. You can also use cider vinegar.
- Cilantro — I like adding cilantro to my salsa, but if you’re not a fan of cilantro, feel free to skip it entirely.
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add all the ingredients and toss well to combine.
- Serve this fresh fruit salsa immediately or keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.

You can peel the peaches, but if you don’t mind the skin, you can leave it on. It’s up to you! It’s a matter of personal preference. The riper the peaches, the easier they are to peel.
You can make this peach salsa 3 to 4 days in advance. Simply keep the salsa in the fridge in an airtight container with a lid. If there’s extra liquid on the bottom of the container from the peaches, you can just drain it.
I do not recommend freezing peach salsa as it will change the texture and consistency of your salsa. It’s best to enjoy the salsa as soon as possible.

Totally. Perfect for summer!
Did you really mean 1/2 CUP of jalapeño pepper!! That’s way to much, unless they really are jalapeños. Did you mean 1/2 of ONE jalapeño instead?
It’s 1/4 cup. I just fixed it for you on the recipe box.
Can I make this this morning and keep it refrigerated until a cookout I’m going to later? Will it keep? Thanks!
Yes you can, just don’t season it ahead of time.
